First Aid Response (Public course)
The aim of this First Aid Responder(FAR) course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attitude to become a competent First Aid Responder.
Duration: 3 Days (18H)
Maximum of 8 learners
Certificate of Competence valid for 2 years will be issued to all learners who successfully complete this course.
A recertification course must be taken every 2 years to keep up your certification, the refresher course is a 2-day course and proof of a current FAR certificate is required in order to attend for recertification. Price available on request.

Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, employers in Ireland have a legal obligation to ensure the health and safety of their employees and others who may be affected by their work activities. This includes providing adequate first aid provisions and trained personnel, depending on the nature of the workplace and the level of risk involved.
Anyone who wants to be trained and certified as a First Aid Responder and deliver first aid care according to the protocols of PHECC.
